Strange Deaths of 1995.

January


Welfare clerk James Chanault, 54, boarded a lift in the Kingsbridge Welfare Center in the Bronx with four others on 6 January. The lift raced up to the second floor, apparantly out of control. When the doors opened, Chenault straddled the doorway to allow the others off. One made it out, but with the doors still open, the lift resumed its climb, decapitating Chenault. His head, wearing stereo headphones, fell into the lift with the three remaining passengers while his body fell down the shaft. Associated Press - 7 January 1995

Inventor Hector Penna spent four years developing a powerful factory cooling fan. He was modifying his invention in his laboratory in San Julian, Argentina, when his wife walked in and flicked on the light switch, not realising he had connected it to the fan. He was decapitated by the blades. Daily Record, Daily Star - 9 January 1995

Mat Hussin Sulaiman, 76, was waiting below a coconut tree on 17 January to collect the nuts his monkey was trained to pluck when one hit him and broke his neck. The farmer died in Kota Baru, 240 miles north-west of Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia. It wasn't clear whether the monkey had delibrately thrown the nut. Associated Press - 18 January 1995

Charles Davies, 67, from Cheltenham in Gloucestershire, gave a solo rendition of the old soldiers' song 'Goodbye' at the annual dinner of the Cotswold Male Voice Choir in Eckington, Hereford and Worcester, on 23 January. He finished with the words: "I wish you all a last goodbye." As the crowd applauded, he collapsed and died. Sussex Evening Argus - 23 January 1995

A Police officer at Cairo's main station noticed blood running down the side of a train on 22 February and discovered a human head on the roof. The rest of the body was found 60 miles away, on the ground near the bridge which had decapitated Mohamed Zaher Abderrahman, 22, in the Nile delta town of Kafr-al-Zayyat. Reuters - 25 February 1995

The night of February 9 1994 Gloria Ramirez ,a 31 year old mother of two was brought in the General Hospital of Riverside,CA with pain in the chest and difficulty in breathing.A strange oily matter was covering all her body.Whithin 15 minutes of her arrival all the members of the stuff that were treating her collapsed except for one,Uberto Ohoa.Gloria Ramirez died a few days later.Whatever got to the others,Uberto was very fortunate in deed.The 7 nurses and doctors that had collapsed never regained their health fully. Dr.Gortsinski begun to suffer from breathing problems and muscular cramps and stayed for one week in intensive care.When he got out he was using a walker and couldn't take a deep,long breath.Bad blood circulation on her feet was threatening to destroy her bones and they operated on an attempt to save her knees.Nurse Balderas stay hospitalised for 10 days but never stopped suffering of intense headaches and anoxia, she never got to sleep more than 1 hour each night since then.
